ZenTab: Minimalist Focus Privacy Policy
Summary
ZenTab replaces your new tab page with a focus workspace. Everything you create in ZenTab is stored in your own browser. The developer runs no servers, uses no analytics or advertising, and never sells or receives your data. A few features call third-party services directly from your browser, listed below.
Data stored on your device
Using Chrome's storage permission and browser local storage, ZenTab keeps the following on your device only:
- Settings: display name, city, theme, wallpaper, avatar, sounds.
- Your content: tasks, notes, habits, ideas, journal entries, mood, focus session history, saved quotes.
- Optional birth date, hour and gender for the Tử Vi (astrology) feature.
- Optional Gemini API key for the AI Mentor feature.
- Images or music files you choose to add.
This data never leaves your device unless a feature below needs it. Uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data deletes it. You can export a backup file from the Journal at any time.

Each service handles requests under its own privacy policy. Gemini requests use your own key and fall under Google's terms for the Gemini API.
What ZenTab does not do
- No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads.
- No reading of your browsing history or the pages you visit.
- No selling, renting or transferring of user data to third parties, and no use of data for credit or lending decisions.
- The donation section only shows a bank QR code. ZenTab does not process payments.
ZenTab's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Dữ liệu lưu trên máy bạn
- Cài đặt: tên hiển thị, thành phố, giao diện, hình nền, avatar, âm thanh.
- Nội dung: nhiệm vụ, ghi chú, thói quen, ý tưởng, nhật ký, tâm trạng, lịch sử phiên tập trung, câu trích dẫn đã lưu.
- Ngày giờ sinh và giới tính (tuỳ chọn) cho tính năng Tử Vi.
- Gemini API key (tuỳ chọn) cho AI Mentor.
- Ảnh hoặc nhạc bạn tự thêm.
Gỡ extension hoặc xoá dữ liệu trình duyệt sẽ xoá toàn bộ. Bạn có thể xuất file sao lưu trong mục Nhật ký.
Dịch vụ bên thứ ba
- ipapi.co: chỉ khi bạn chưa nhập thành phố, dùng địa chỉ IP để ước tính vị trí gần đúng cho phần thời tiết.
- Open-Meteo: nhận toạ độ gần đúng hoặc tên thành phố để trả về thời tiết.
- Suno hoặc link nhạc bạn dán vào: chỉ khi bạn tự dán link, trình duyệt gửi yêu cầu bình thường đến link đó để phát nhạc.
- Google Gemini API: chỉ khi bạn tự nhập API key. Gửi tin nhắn bạn hỏi, tối đa 5 nhiệm vụ đang mở và dữ kiện lá số (tên sao, cung, giới tính, năm âm lịch). Không gửi ngày giờ sinh chính xác.
ZenTab không làm gì
- Không tài khoản, không theo dõi, không phân tích, không quảng cáo.
- Không đọc lịch sử duyệt web hay nội dung trang bạn truy cập.
- Không bán hay chuyển giao dữ liệu người dùng cho bên thứ ba.
- Mục ủng hộ chỉ hiển thị mã QR ngân hàng, ZenTab không xử lý thanh toán.
